Lonely Day

The best song on the radio right now has to be System of a Down, "Lonely Day".  I think I can listen to this song over and over and over and over.

We were listening to the radio at work on Saturday and it reminded me that I should request the CD, we didn't have it at work but AADL had it.  It came in yesterday and I have to go pick it up today...well today when I was cleaning up my computer I found out I already had it on there.  Oh well :)  It's a good CD I don't mind checking it out again.

Keeping my computer tidy is a task anymore.  I deleted about 2 gigs of music...I still have about 3 on there.  I'm thinking about deleting a bunch of pictures too, I have a pro account on Flickr so I could essentially put all my pictures online.  If I delete them from my hard drive though, I would have to trust that nothing happens to the pictures on Flickr...I do but still, that's a lot of pictures...

Well, I haven't been posting much because I've been busy.  I have my final this week and I should be studying right now (I have until Saturday to take it online...I'm pretty positive I'm taking it Saturday).  Ok, I'm not much worried about my final, even if I get a 50 on it, I'll still get an A in the class.  I'm not striving for a 50, mind you, but I'm not freaking out over it either.

Next week I'll be on vacation, not sure if I'll be online either.  From what I can tell there are no wireless hotspots near my mom's place in Indiana.  Well, that's not exactly true, I know there's one at the campground directly next to my mom's place, but I haven't checked to see if I'm able to access it as a non-camper, or if I could even access it from my mom's (kinda doubt the signal reaches that far).  The campground shares the same lake as my mom's park...I did have the crazy idea of taking the boat over to the campground side with my computer to see if it works...but then again I'm not really sure if I want to be taking my computer out on the lake either...I would just die if anything happened to it...plus I only have a two minute battery life on "The Beast".  Living without internet for a week though is rough for Alex and I, even when we went camping last fall we were relieved to spend one night in a hotel with wireless access.  Of course my mom was constantly rolling her eyes at us every time we got out our computers...hey, we can't help it that one of our favorite camping activities is watching DVDs in our tent!  :)

Not sure what we'll do while we're in Indiana, we'll have free reign of my mom's place the entire week.  Probably grill out, sit by the fire, drink some beers, make some margaritas...I haven't played Sims in a long time, maybe I'll bring my game.  We could go into town to watch a movie if there's anything good playing.  The flea market at Shipshewana is opening next week too so we might take a side trip over there for a day.  I'm sure we'll find plenty to do, but the whole point of the week is to relax, and we're pretty good at that!

Hi, I hope you remember me from Library Camp...I was just reading through your blog when I noticed that you're vacationing in Angola next week. I think you're the 5th person I know who has ever heard of the town - my parents have lived there for about 7 years. I was actually planning on going down there myself next week for a few days after the semester ends on Monday. Would you like to get together for coffee or something?

I do remember you! We still want to have a tour of EMU :)

I would love to get together and have coffee! I'll try to email you when I'm not at work to arrange the details...

I'll be there for an entire week starting Sunday. My mom's place is actually in Fremont, but as you know that's not too far from Angola.
