Somebody mentioned this in one of our sessions at Library Camp, but I just noticed that ALA TechSource posted a blog article on a new library opening in the online game, Second Life.
What an awesome idea! The library coordinators will even offer library programming for Second Life residents.
I haven't played the game, I'm a Sims addict so I know if I were to start playing there would be no turning back. I haven't had time to play Sims lately (which does make me sad), I'm not sure if I'm prepared for an online Sims replacement at the moment.
