I, like the rest of the world, have a MySpace page, but I kinda hate MySpace so I've been messing around with Vox. Vox is prettier, easier to use, and just all around fun...it even works with other services, like Flickr.
I'm trying to grow my neighborhood so here's my Vox url: http://heidigoseek.vox.com/
MySpace is great if you want people to find you, but it looks like with Vox you need to work a little harder to create your network.
Take a look around and feel free to add me as a friend if you decide to join. I know there's a million of these social networking sites, I probably have an account on all of them now...you almost need a part time job to manage all of them :)
Hmm. My accounts on Spaces and MySpace already just point back to my main blog. I'd find it difficult to keep another blog going, I think. I'll take the hint and try it out, though :-)
What I'm most impressed with is how well it handles different media. I read a lot of books and listen to a lot of music (movies go in spurts)...a hazard of working in a library I suppose. I never posted anything on MySpace but I'm thinking about trying Vox out for quick posts or talking about some of the many books I've been reading.
I have yet to update my blog with an about page too...I've actually been using some of these social networking sites instead of creating one...
I understand what you mean though, they usually tend to point back here anyway.
Welcome to VOX. I find the community there more friendly than anywhere else I've tried.
Hi Art! I didn't realize you were already on Vox! Thanks for adding me :)
The more I play with Vox the more I'm loving it. It integrates a lot of services I'm already using and it's so easy to organize. I think my husband's enjoying it too.
